Laura D. Willis

Laura graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a major in Political Science. She received her J.D. in 2006 from William and Mary School of Law, where she served as a staff editor for the William and Mary Law Review.

Laura was admitted to the Virginia Bar in October 2006 and practiced construction and government contract law in McLean, Virginia before moving to Delaware. Prior to joining Curley, Dodge & Funk, Laura served as a law clerk to President Judge James T. Vaughn, Jr. in the Superior Court of Kent County, practiced insurance litigation in Wilmington, and practiced as an associate at the Law Offices of Gary R. Dodge in Dover. Laura currently focuses her practice on wills and estates, civil litigation, real estate, and business counseling.

Active in the community, Laura is involved with the Smyrna Holly’s Club, the Ronald McDonald House, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Duke University Alumni Interview Program, and the State Council on Interstate Juvenile Supervision. Laura and her husband, Lincoln, live in Clayton with their two sons.
